Showers and laundry services for the homeless are available Monday - Friday by appointment only. Personal care items are available to guests using the shower facilities.
Our Foot Clinic is offered at Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach by visiting physician assistant and nursing students from Union College. They provide foot care education to adults while soaking participants feet and trimming their toenails. Individuals who participate receive free socks monthly, and a pair of free shoes every 12 months. Please see our calendar for the monthly dates of service.
Message, Mail, and Phone Services are available. People are able to use Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach as their mailing address and use the organization's courtesy phone and message board for appropriate means of communication. Please come to Matt Talbot during regular outreach times (Monday - Friday 11 am - 1 pm and 5 - 6:30 pm) to register.
Everyone is welcome to to walk through our open doors and get a hot prepared meal two times a day, every day of the year. Lunch is served from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm and dinner is served from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm. In a typical year Matt Talbot provides more than 100,000 meals to Lincoln's working poor and homeless. Food pantries are also available for those who do not have enough food at home.
